This was a very interesting project to consider how to maximise value from 4 barns on the client's land that were now redundant. The client had successfully achieved a holiday-let permission for one of them but consulted us with regard to how to finance and maximise value from that permission whilst at the same time considering what might be done in respect of the listed barns which had no permission and required heavy maintenance to keep them standing. We were able to develop a scheme with reasonable prospects of success and a prospective saving to the client of up to £400,000.
